Working Principle of Spring Energized Seals:
The energizing spring inside the spring energized seal provides initial preload force to keep the polymer jacket sealing lip in continuous contact with the mating surface. As the system pressure rises, the medium pressure acts on the seal jacket, further increasing the contact pressure between the sealing lip and the mating surface, so as to achieve reliable sealing under harsh working conditions.
